Bayerische Patentallianz GmbH (BAYPAT) works directly at the interface of science and business. New, innovative technologies from our 33 partner institutions enable us to stay at the cutting edge and help shape tomorrow. To intensify this further, we are looking for reinforcement.

What to expect
  • Conducting prior-art searches
  • Preparing short opinions on inventions with regard to patentability
  • Drafting patenting strategies
  • Supporting national and international IP prosecution proceedings
  • Monitoring deadlines and costs of ongoing IP proceedings
  • Close collaboration with researchers at our partner institutions
What we expect
  • A completed degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biotechnology, molecular medicine, biomedicine, or an equivalent field
  • Professional experience in industrial property protection (qualification as a patent attorney is an advantage)
  • Quick grasp of complex relationships across different subject areas
  • An independent, structured working style
  • Confident spoken and written German
  • Negotiation-level English, spoken and written
