BAYPAT is one of Germany’s leading technology transfer organizations.

Founded in 2007 by Bavaria’s universities and higher education institutions, our mission is clear: strengthen technology transfer in Bavaria for the long term and help innovations reach real-world application.

At the core of our work is the professional evaluation, patenting, and commercialization of inventions for 28 Bavarian universities, higher education institutions, and research organizations. We accompany innovations from the first idea through to a strong market position.
