Berlin Science Week brings science out of institutions and into the city. From 1 to 10 November 2026, more than 200 organizations turn Berlin into one of Europe's leading science festivals with hundreds of free events.
Under the festival motto In Touch, Berlin Science Week 2026 focuses on the personal side of science: how research touches our lives, changes us, and connects us with one another. The program puts people, institutions, and the stories behind scientific discoveries center stage.
New this year is the festival center at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. The central venue opens up new formats and gives partners a unique chance to present their work at the heart of the festival and engage with a broad audience.
For BAYPAT, Berlin Science Week is a strong catalyst for technology transfer and dialogue between science and society. It is where conversations begin that make research visible and foster collaboration across academia, industry, and innovation.
